Today's groundbreaking marks the start of a full revitalization of the upper and lower basketball courts at Rose Playground — new rims, nets, and backboards, and a refreshed space for the whole neighborhood to enjoy this fall.
Thank you to Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, led by Commissioner Susan Slawson, for making this project possible, and to the 76ers for generously supplying the rims, nets, and backboards. This is about more than new courts — it's about creating a hub for the Overbrook Park community. 🧡💙
